10 years ago today, I took a leap of faith and walked away from my “real job” and decided to give WhimsiDoodles my whole heart and make this little dream my full-time reality.
And what a 10 years it has been. The highs, the lows, the late nights, the crazy busy seasons, the times I questioned everything, and the moments that reminded me exactly why I started.
To every person who has ordered a shirt, trusted me with a special gift, stopped by my booth, shared a post, recommended me to a friend or simply cheered me on — THANK YOU. You have allowed me to make a living doing something I truly love, and I will never take that for granted.
But my biggest thank you goes to my boys and my husband. ❤️ You have lived WhimsiDoodles right alongside me. You've dealt with the supplies taking over the house, the late nights, the weekends at events, the last-minute orders, the stress, the celebrations and all of my crazy ideas. And, the glitter... all of the glitter. You've carried boxes, set up booths, listened to me vent and believed in me when I wasn't so sure myself.
I could never have done these 10 years without you.
Ten years ago, I took a chance on myself.
Today, I'm really, really glad I did.
