It is truly an honor for all of us at New Beginnings Thrift to play even a small part in helping individuals and families as they transition into a new chapter of life.
We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations like UGM that are making a real and lasting impact in the Tri-Cities. Thank you for trusting us to come alongside your mission and serve our neighbors together.
We also want to thank our amazing customers, donors, staff, and volunteers. Your generosity is what makes partnerships like this possible. ♥️
When one our residents successfully navigates their way into housing, it is important that we send them with the resources to make their house into a home! Four walls and roof isn't enough. They need to fill their new space with all the items that create a sense of purpose and belonging. Furniture, lamps, pillows, blankets, towels, small appliances, cookware and tableware and so much more.
We are grateful for our new partners at New Beginnings Thrift Store - Richland for helping our residents with the necessary items needed to create that vital sense of place and purpose. Owner Chad came to our Warehouse Manager Brian several months ago looking for creative ways to assist our struggling neighbors achieve self-sufficiency and independence. This conversation led to us being able to connect our outgoing residents with his stores to facilitate our Aftercare Program.
Because of their generosity, our outgoing residents are able to choose needed household items for themselves, reflecting their own style and way of life. They get to exercise independence and self expression by "shopping" the store, thus creating a sense of dignity and reward for the hard work they have put into their rescue, recovery and restoration journey.
Thank you Chad and all the team at New Beginnings Thrift for everything you do for our neighbors. Partners like you make our ministry of grace possible.
