We got some rain last night out west. Our creek is lookin pretty good.

Wieners had to come check it out with me this morning. We went and took some pictures and a video while we had our morning walk.

We hope everyone's holding up good in the valley with all this water headed their way. Keep your heads above water!!

Some days in the glass shop aren’t about finishing pieces.

They’re about learning something new… on purpose.

About slowing down long enough to teach myself a different technique.

Trying it.
Messing it up.
Trying it again anyway.

I’ve realized the mistakes are part of the magic. Every bad cut, every “well that didn’t work,” every redo is just another layer in the process.

If I’m going to grow this thing, I have to be willing to be a beginner again and again.

So here’s to learning new lessons… even when it means making a mess first.

While everyone else in the valley was waking up to snow, the shop was getting kissed by the sun Thursday morning ☀️

Golden light pouring through the clouds, warming everything up, making the colors glow just a little brighter 🌞 It felt like a quiet little gift.

Happy Friday, friends ☀️ The weekend is finally here and it feels like a good one.

Not the ones you see with your eyes. The ones you feel.

The warm gold that feels like peace.
The deep blue that holds quiet and depth.
The soft green that feels like healing.
The fire orange that reminds you you’re still alive.

Working with glass has taught me that color carries emotion. It holds memory. It tells stories without ever saying a word.

Sometimes I’ll pick up a piece of glass and it feels like something I’ve known forever, even if I can’t explain why.

That’s the part I love most. Turning those feelings into something you can hold.

Some days don’t go the way I planned.

The list gets ignored. The timeline shifts. The “important” things don’t get done.

But I still show up.
Maybe I clean the shop. Maybe I cut one piece of glass. Maybe I just sit there and move something forward, even a little.

And somehow, those are the days that matter too.

It’s not always about doing everything.
Sometimes it’s just about showing up and doing something.

Progress doesn’t always look the way you planned it. And that’s okay ✨

This little piece reminds me how it all started. ✨️ 🪷✨️

Not with a big plan. Not with everything figured out. Just a spark of curiosity and a love for glass, and the willingness to try.

This past year has been full of small steps. Learning curves. Quiet wins. Mistakes that turned into lessons.

Moments where I wondered if I was doing it right, and moments where I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

Nothing about this journey has been instant. And I’m grateful for that. Because growing slowly means I get to experience every part of it.

And somehow, 2026 already feels different. It doesn’t feel like just another year. It feels like doors opening. Like momentum building. Like everything I’ve been working toward is starting to take shape.
