Charley Harper Iconic Vol 2 Poplin is here! 🎉

We’ve taken some of our favorite (ok, everyone’s favorite) art prints by renowned artist Charley Harper, known for his coined minimal realism style, and turned them into unique repeat patterns printed on our lovely 100% GOTS certified organic unbleached cotton poplin, perfect for quilting, garments, accessories, and more!

Iconic Volume 2 incorporates a variety of colors and animals such as cats, raccoons, deer, and a plethora of birds like hummingbirds, cardinals, ducks, and owls. Feel the seasons with fall leaves and spring flowers. There is truly a little bit of everything in these prints, and it is a perfect starting spot for those who love Charley Harper, and those thinking of getting their feet wet with these bold, nature inspired prints.

Have you used another substrate as the quilt backing that the quilt top? I’ve used barkcloth on a couple, and this is one of them. It’s great for a slightly weighted feel, and adds a super yummy texture element.

How do you like to use barkcloth?

I’m always so inspired by this community’s creativity! While this print is no longer available in barkcloth, we are getting a smaller version in poplin this May! 🙌

Just finished this sweet little baby quilt using our newest organic fabric print collection, Tall Tales by for Birch Fabrics! 🌾

These gorgeous vintage western prints paired with our organic natural linen is so soft, breathable, and beautiful. 100% linen is a little shifty to work with, but with a little starch and patience, it’s fully worth it!

We are planning a linen reboot soon, so stay tuned for that. 🙌

Sometimes when things feel out of control, or like our dreams have gotten away from us, it's an excellent time to dig deep and go back to the core. That is how it feels bringing back one of our OG Birch collections by one of our most favorite designers, !

We began producing organic fabrics more than 17(!) years ago to add an organic alternative to the quilting and craft industry, with some much needed beauty, style, and whimsy of the time. Since then, the fabric design world has exploded with incredible talent, and now with print on demand options, virtually anything can exist on fabric. If you can dream it, you can surely print it on fabric!

With that said, some things are truly timeless, such as Circa 52! This nod to mid century design has become a pillar of our brand, and we hope you still yearn for these fresh and fun colors, hand drawn motifs, woodland critters, and atomic cuteness.
