One thing I don’t think people talk about enough as a business owner is the anxiety that comes with hiring.

It’s not just bringing someone onto a team. It’s trusting someone else with something you’ve poured your heart into. Every detail, every system, every little thing you’ve taught yourself to notice over the years. The corners, the baseboards, the little touches that clients have come to expect and love.

As a cleaner, I know that our clients aren’t just paying for a clean home. They’re trusting us with their safe space. They’ve chosen KCS because they know the standard we’ll deliver, and the thought of someone not meeting that standard honestly keeps me up at night.

Hiring isn’t just about filling a position. It’s hoping someone will care about your business the way you do. It’s worrying they’ll miss something, disappoint a client, or undo the reputation you’ve spent years building.

As business owners, it’s easy to focus on the never-ending to-do list, the challenges, and the goals we haven’t reached yet. But this morning, I’m choosing gratitude.

Grateful for every client who has trusted me, every lesson learned, every opportunity that has come my way, and every step forward… even the small ones.

Success isn’t built overnight. It’s built through early mornings, late nights, consistency, and showing up even when motivation is nowhere to be found.

Taking in all the amazing clients I have, the ones who have become more like family than anything. You’ve all watched me on this journey and have gave encouragement and continue to remind me how great I’m doing. Requirements:
• Cleaning experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to provide your own cleaning supplies
• Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor
• Trustworthy, dependable, and detail oriented
• Must provide references

Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸❤️

Today I’m slowing down a little, soaking in conversations with clients, laughing, hearing stories, and just appreciating how far life and my business have come. What started as a dream and a lot of hard work has turned into something so much bigger than cleaning homes, it’s built relationships, trust, and a community that truly feels like family.

Days like today remind me to be thankful not only for the freedom and sacrifices this holiday represents, but also for every single person who has supported KCS along the way. I’m proud of how far we’ve come, excited for where we’re headed, and grateful for every client that’s been part of the journey.
