"Cheap" knives are often made with softer metal which can cause them to dull quicker than their higher end counterparts, but that doesn't mean they can't and shouldn't be sharpened!

At Nick's Knife Sharpening, we deal with all levels and quality of knives.

Did you know that the "knife sharpener" in your knife set is actually just a honing rod? While it does a great job of keeping your knife edge straight and true, it does very little to sharpen your knives.

A sharp knife is a safe knife! Sharp blades are less likely to slip and cause injury, they allow for cleaner, easier cuts, and may even reduce "onion tears!"
