Nothing like waiting until the witching hour to summon up this little Misfit piece…she's been busy consulting the spirits (presumably about cheese).

After listening to a podcast about Giula Tofana, I knew I had to capture her legendary elixir in art form — the one allegedly used to help inconvenient husbands make a rather permanent exit.

This thrifted frame was the perfect starting point for a piece with a little history, a little mystery, and a healthy dose of absolutely not what the doctor ordered.

It's y'all which means I've got some eerie art for you! I thrifted the perfect frame for "The Witness", and really dig how this came together- from the reflection on the crow, the curl of the pages, and the drip of the candle! You can check it out, and lots of other spooky at this month!

Jenna had this print hanging in her house, and while we both agreed it was a little… dated, she also saw some potential in it. She’s a huge fan, so the answer seemed obvious: give this peaceful little landscape a Peanuts-inspired outdoor adventure. Now, this dated wall art has a whole new personality!

Check out this cutie! Capturing that soft, touchable coat on the gritty surface of the slate was definitely a challenge, but oil paint is patient and forgiving — and I’m really happy with how this one came together.

The most nerve-wracking part? Sending it all the way to Arizona.

Real talk: I, uh, did not paint water that great when I first did this buoy (years ago). Frankly, I still have a lot to learn about capturing it. And while I really liked the texture and downright CHONKINESS from the original, it's always fun to see how I can reinterpret an older work!

Found this cute espresso cup and knew I had to feature it for my “Ordinary Objects” submission. It usually plays a starring role in my Saturday espresso ritual, but this time, I put it to work as a painting subject. Turns out it’s just as good at sitting pretty as it is holding coffee.
