Looking for a community-driven, transit-oriented apartment complex that offers vibrant and engaging living? This proposed development at 201 Brighton is designed to deliver just that!

This proposed six-story building will replace an underutilized industrial site and bring 145 residential units, both affordable and market rate, along with ground-floor retail space to the heart of Allston. The building will be Passive House certified at completion and will feature a robust amenities package including a coworking space, lounge, family-oriented rec room, Uber lounge, and not one, but two, roof decks!

We’re thrilled to be working with DND Homes on this transformative project bringing some much-needed housing to the city. Stay tuned for what's next!

We were excited to share back in December that DMS design, llc received an Honorable Mention for BQE Software’s Operational Efficiency Award — and now the official award has arrived!

It’s one thing to celebrate the recognition, but holding the physical award makes it even more meaningful.

Projects like these are exactly what is all about.

We’re excited to share before-and-after highlights from a recently completed occupied interior renovation of a historic factory building in Lynn, MA—an affordable housing community home to hundreds of senior residents.

Working alongside Redwood Housing, whose commitment to quality, safe, and comfortable housing closely aligns with our own, Redwood’s resident-focused approach helped guide which areas to prioritize to ensure the greatest benefit for residents.

Focused on enhancing the building’s amenity spaces, updates included refreshed lobby areas, a welcoming community room, salon, and library, along with new amenities such as a fitness center and computer lab.

One of our favorite details? The new wayfinding signage, thoughtfully designed to celebrate the building’s past lives and showcase historic photos of Lynn from the time the building was originally constructed.

We’re more than a multifamily firm…we’re your go-to for a variety of architecture and design services! The Salem Community Life Center (CLC) stands as a testament to our versatile capabilities.

DMS design, llc is the Architect of Record for this 20,000 SF community center serving the city of Salem since 2018. Years later, the Salem CLC has enlisted our help again in expanding their community kitchen as their needs have grown. With 12 designated offices, the CLC is home to several organizations including the Council on Aging, Veteran’s Services, and the Salem Recreation Department. The center serves as the city’s voting center and features a plethora of public amenities, such as a fitness center, kitchen, library, and several multipurpose rooms capable of holding classes, public meetings, and special events.

We are thrilled about the positive impact this center has had on the city of Salem. We are committed to supporting their growth by designing to their evolving needs and optimizing their space for continued success.
