All the vinyl and OG siding has been removed. The roofline and vent in the old garage is looking so much more interesting, it’s got me rethinking what color to paint the exterior. What color?

Tile is getting finalized for our Golfview home. I can spend hours looking at tile.

There’s always a seat at our table… hoping to spend more time visiting with friends and family in 2024.

COLOR on COLOR on COLOR. Our home felt very cold, with the pure white walls and rather than repaint the whole place, I leaned into more textures and colors in our furnishings. Many of the main items in our kitchen/living space were from the old house but I did need to add an island. So I went vibrant with India Yellow, some fun feet and then vermillion stools!

What is a color you’d love to incorporate more into your space?

Equal parts vintage + new make up our new pantry. Before we moved in, I asked to see the builders plans, our home is about a year old and there was a precious homeowner in it. I noticed the plans mentioned a closet under the stairs, but we didn’t have one. So we popped a hole in the wall, and discovered a lot of unused space. I designed it around housing my grandparents secretary that we use as our bar cabinet. I chose India Yellow from for the shelves to compliment the island we added in the kitchen. (Pics to come) And the light is from the early 80s, when we renovated my parents place I kept them, and it ended up working perfectly here!
Tile is from and turned our beautiful!

Starting to feel like home… we recently downsized to allow us more time spent with the kids and community and less taking care of our home and property.
All our favorite items in one space plus a few new ones like the rug and chandelier!

Primary bathroom in the FL vacation home.

- You’ll see a picture here if you swipe right of a sketch for a layout including shelves between the mirrors.
- The original design included that, but on this project I wasn’t working directly with the contractor so did not see cabinet, plumbing plans during the design.
- After I was sent construction pics to see where plumbing was going the sketch was to see if we could fit the shelves and still center the mirrors over the sinks.
- In the final design, you can see we could not.

Bathroom & Kitchen renovations are very dependent upon early decisions made in plumbing and electrical, so working with a designer earlier in the process is always better.

Dreaming about taking a vacation… reminded me of a project I did for a clients vacation home. This Reno went from 80s Florida Fab to Modern Beach home! Swipe 👉🏼 to see the before.

I’m excited to share the final product of one of my favorite former colleagues projects!!!! I’m so grateful that projects like this let me reconnect with people. We brightened up her man-cavey-living room with this classic fireplace makeover! It was quite the project, with the custom fireplace taking some time to finally make this space complete. Swipe 👉🏼 to see the before.
