We are so thankful when a customer takes the time to leave a review, check out what this customer (Gene Collier) said about Slip Free Systems in the NextDoor App on 2-21-26:
This is the first time I have ever posted anything like this, so here goes. Back on January 6, I found a company on Google to apply epoxy color-flake coating to my garage floor with attached carport, about 750 square feet. They sent a representative out that afternoon. He told me that they would do what he called 'a white glove job' which includes moving everything out of the garage, applying the coating, and moving everything back into the garage. Price would be $6150, and they could start next Monday (January 12). I received a text early Monday morning that they would have to cancel for Monday, and they would let me know a new date to do the work. I am retired and not in a big hurry, so it's no big deal. I waited almost two weeks without hearing back from them, so I sent a text and asked what was going on. She told me they were waiting for an opening in their schedule to give me a start date for the job. Around January 28, a company representative called to say he would come by my house to inspect the garage floor in preparation for the work. He came by and told me that they would be at my house early Monday, February 17. Over two weeks, but okay, good. Come early Monday the 17th, I moved my pickup truck out of the garage and some small stuff, in preparation for them to come and start the work. Around 10:30 AM, they had not shown up. I sent a text asking whether their crew was coming to start the work. They would check. It was almost an hour before they texted to say they would have to reschedule the work. To say the least, this disappointed me, and trying not to use bad words made me a little hot in the collar. I went back to Google and searched for a new company to do my floors. I found a company called Slip Free Systems. They would be able to come the next day and start the work. The epoxy floor coating takes two days. Their price? $3900!! I texted the first company (Leaf Filter) and told them to cancel the job. I am happy with Slip Free Systems' work; they were very conscientious and did a very good-looking floor despite my dog walking across the garage floor while the epoxy was still wet. They are a local company, and two of their crew live just around the corner from me on Ave T. So let this be a lesson to me: always get at least two bids on a large job like this. I saved $ 2,250 because Leaf Filter didn't show up. Good that they didn't show.
