Brian said we were only going to put out 12 tomato plants this year. So I started 48!! Anyhow, I have some tomato plants available to sell. $2.50 each, varieties listed below.

Addy and Calli approved of Mammie using their jumparine for the flowers. I always harden off my plants on the back porch because it only gets morning sun and is sheltered from any strong winds. I had to get creative this year finding a way to protect them from the chickens wandering through. Btw, Jason,Emma, I love your chickens don’t get me wrong. But I know they like to eat too. Anyhow, the 10 day forecast looked good so they’re gonna hang out here for a while.

Added some faux leather to a suit jacket tonight. I like how it turned out. First time doing something like that.

I tried something new today. I bought a meat press and made lunch meat. This is chicken thighs, jalepenos, bacon and spices. We need to tweak the seasonings a little. Brian said it needs a little more next time , but he said it tasted good. I’ll post updates when I make more.

Made a pot of white beans and ham tonight for supper. Fried taters. And these biscuits. OMG!! These biscuits are easily in the top five breads I’ve ever made. They are kind of a cross between a biscuit and corn bread. They are so amazing!! Let me know if you want me to share the recipe.

Finally finished the last quilt that I was supposed to have done for Christmas. This was a learning experience. I quilted this one on my regular sewing machine. A first for me. So don’t look too close cause she’s got puckers all over the place! But it’s for the hubby and I know he won’t mind.
