“I want color” was the starting point for this family room, and we embraced it. 💙🤍🩵

My client wanted a fun, comfortable space where she and her dog could truly relax, so we layered rich blues and teals throughout the room.

The rug ties the palette together and gives the space a fresh, modern feel. While the overall design is fairly minimal, the mix of textures, curved shapes, and layered seating keeps it balanced, inviting, and full of personality!

A beautiful summer day in a pool house designed for effortless indoor-outdoor living.

I had the opportunity to design this project in its entirety, from the exterior style and materials to the interior layout, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and every detail in between. The goal was to create a space that felt like a natural extension of the existing home while still having its own relaxed, resort-like atmosphere.

There’s nothing better than seeing a design you envisioned come to life and then seeing it enjoyed exactly as it was intended! 💙

A mirror view into this cozy model apartment 🩶

Designed for a studio in a coastal senior living community, this space needed to feel both open and thoughtfully defined. I created zones for sleeping, relaxing, and storage by using functional pieces that make the most of every inch.

I also like to mix different art styles so the room feels collected over time rather than overly coordinated. That more eclectic approach feels personal, welcoming, and true to what someone might bring with them from their own home.

First impressions start with statement tile 🖤

For this large modern farmhouse foyer, I wanted the entry to feel special without looking disconnected from the rest of the home. We chose a rustic wood-look porcelain tile in a beautiful X pattern that adds character, movement, and just the right amount of visual interest.

The tile color closely relates to the gray wood flooring used throughout the adjoining spaces, which helps soften the transition into the hallway and keeps the flooring from feeling like two completely separate areas. At the same time, the porcelain gives this hardworking entryway the durability it needs for everyday traffic.

It’s a statement, but one that still feels connected to the rest of the home.

Modern farmhouse Powder Room, New Hampshire style 🌿

In a new build or renovation, I love using side sconces whenever the layout allows. Lighting placed on either side of the mirror is the most flattering because it illuminates the face more evenly and helps eliminate the shadows that overhead lighting can create.

When there’s enough space, the sconces can be mounted directly beside the mirror. In a narrower powder room, placing them on the side walls can create the same soft, balanced effect.

Pool House wall install day!

This was such a fun and rewarding project to bring to life. I designed the entire space, selected all of the furnishings, and created this custom wall art concept to solve a tricky design challenge. With the window placement and mini split, traditional framed artwork just didn’t feel right.

Instead, I designed an organic, flowing installation that worked with the architecture instead of competing with it. I painted each piece and installed it myself for my client.

There’s nothing better than seeing an idea go from concept to reality. Worth every minute! 💙🤍🩵
