Galloway Artisans is Art created by Lynn and Richard Galloway. The vast majority of our work is from sustainable items, items are recycled, reused, or salvaged materials. The wood comes from trees removed by local tree services, taken down by the city because of safety issues, etc... The stone Lynn draws on is mainly the sc

raps from a local counter top company, the copper and other metals come from a metal recycling place (except the silver of course). We are doing our part to help keep materials out of our landfills and from being a burden on others.

Pickup is all loaded and ready to leave Early tomorrow morning for the first of many markets at the Wallowa County Farmers' Market in Joseph. If you are headed for the mountains or Wallowa Lake, stop by and say hello. We will be there from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Have missed a few posts because I'm in mid process of getting my remaining teeth pulled and dentures made. Seems I may have under estimated the amount of time it would take to both have the teeth pulled and even more so, the time it will take for me to heal and get past the pain. Elected to Not be working in the shop with power tools when I hurt so much I can barely focus. Last teeth come out this coming Wednesday and I Hope I'll be back in the shop in a week to ten days after that. Wish me luck!

Even though they are two halves of the same block, each has a distinctive grain pattern. I envision selling these two to either siblings or perhaps parent and child. These are destined to be heirloom centerpieces passed down from generation to generation. Apricot is not something we get often, and it never fails to impress us with it's beauty.
