My client (named "Ms. Education") wants to update her ENTIRE SECOND FLOOR and FIRST FLOOR with a complete make over.

BREAKDOWN #1: Let’s start with the HALLWAY going up the steps. Client has carpet that has been on the steps since the DAYS OF NOAH . Nah, just kidding…but SERIOUSLY!😆

TASK #1: Take off the old carpet, including tacks and nails (shew)
TASK #2: Repair, spackle and paint entire Walls and Ceiling going up steps, including baseboards!

Want to change an OUTDATED Ceiling Fan

1)Take Blades off and paint them your chosen color…

2)Cover ceiling with plastic and spray paint Hardware desired finish (like Silver)

3)Spice up the Blades to make them POP, POP, POP 💣💣💣

So, continuing with (“Lisa Lisa”) the Living Room area… She wanted her Living Room fireplace to match the POP that the Kitchen and Dining Room now has become!

DILEMNA: Fix a dated fireplace with wood façade and brass fireplace insert on a Bargain Budget!

TASK #1: Paint wood casings and trim black all around perimeter.
TASK #2: Pick out a 3d Wall Covering to look like real stone (Amazon) and install.
TASK #3: Spray paint brass fireplace insert black and cover with mirrored film.
TASK #4: Install TV mount and DECORATE, DECORATE, DECORATE!!!

THE MURAL OF PAST AND PRESENT PARADISE…artist: (my son) Drue Hardison-ig:

My reoccurring client ("Lisa Lisa") who purchased a NEW HOUSE which is older but with lots of character wanted something NEW for her Living and Dining Rooms.

First, there was this mural in the house when she purchased it that was, shall we say, different! It reminded you of South of France in the 1950s. Well, as may already be determined, this was not her style. She liked the idea of a mural but the style was off, to say the least.

Well… Drue, my son, to the rescue! Here is the “before” “after” and “during” phases of the MASTERPIECE!!

BIG SHOUT OUTS TO: my talented youngest son (because I have a talented oldest one too ζjusonthebeat. 😊)

LASTLY family…”Auntie Stressed-Out” had old tiles throughout the bathroom. But after a while, the tiles around the faucet begin to fall apart due to the leaks and shower usage over the years. The DILEMNA with that is: these tiles are not made anymore. You can’t go to your local Home Depot and pick these off the shelf.

SOLUTION: use the same mosaic tile I used around the border of the wall and fill in around the faucet where the old tiles were coming apart.

HAHA…BY George I think we’ve got it!! You be the JUDGE!

Now WHAT TO DO ABOUT THE CEILING? Uh oh
Well I decided to do something a little different. Why don’t I try dollar store contact paper on the ceiling…..what did I just say???

That’s right, Dollar Tree mosaic contact paper which is $1.25 a roll at your local Dollar Tree store. I added wallpaper paste to the ceiling and laid it on there.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? Not bad right? Yup, this can be done. Now you will have to turn your neck and back upside down at some points to get it on there…but it can be done!!

VOILA!!!
