I definitely love me some stained shutters and this project with Ritz-Craft Custom Homes did not disappoint. It was a challenge to find a match for the “rustic” cabin, but I think I did alright. Alta totally nailed the color and finish on these shutters, and install went smoother than I could have hoped. Oh and these are 100% made in America! Once I finished up, they added a couple more windows to the project for me, but I figured I’d share what I’ve done so far. Have a look at these beautiful Alta Top Down/Bottom Up cellular I installed in South Williamsport this week. The client said she couldn’t be happier and she was “stalking” my page for the better part of 5 years before pulling the trigger. She was thrilled with the end result and said “Thank god no more granny curtains!” Haha. She had some lace curtains prior to these and if they would have still been there when I arrived you’d get to see a before and after. Well this isn’t a window treatment post, but Alex from Advanced Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing, LLC really helped my family out. We lost our hot water due to a furnace “glitch” and he really came through. He was knowledgeable, punctual and fairly priced. Oh and he’s also a veteran! He got here fast and got my furnace back up and running and tuned up and ready for the rest of the year. Nice little shutter project Joe and I installed a little over a week ago. The client chose Alta Genesis shutters and they were thrilled. We were pretty happy with how they turned out as well. The genesis line of shutters are made of poly resin and offer an affordable option as compared to wood. They really dressed this old farmhouse up and before we even finished these up, the client informed us they will be doing the rest of the house.
