I just love the front porch fall decorations on this beautiful cottage home. Mums, wreaths, pinecones, ornamental grasses, gourds & pumpkins of various colors, are a few things to think of when you decorate your front entry.

How Do You Visually Enlarge Your Ceilings ~ White or lighter colored ceilings make smaller rooms appear larger.

Lighter shades of paint will help create a more expansive space when you paint the walls and ceiling the same color.

Using lamps instead of overheard lights or chandeliers in small rooms, adds height to a room.

If you have low ceilings, architectural detail, such as crown molding will visually make ceilings appear lower.

While crown molding and other millwork is gorgeous in the right style of home, it isn't a good fit for all homes or rooms.

The average life of a Sofa is 7 to 10 years. However, this depends on a lot of things. How often it is used, quality, children, pets allowed on furniture, sun exposure, care, etc.

Updating your sofa can be as simple as buying a slipcover, pillows and a throw.

Sometimes we have quite a bit of "things" that we want to get rid of and would like to earn some extra cash. Some people have no idea where to begin or just need motivation. The benefit is making more space in your home. What doesn't sell, you can then donate to charity.
