I’ve had a lot of inquiries about commissioned pieces, with people asking me to estimate prices before I really know the details of the project.
It’s difficult to give exact prices until we have chosen your yarn, the pattern (or figured out that I need to design the piece without using a pattern) and if it’s something that needs to fit, I have measured the person I’m knitting it for so i can estimate how much yarn it will take to make the item.

But just to give people a ballpark idea of what it costs to have me knit something for you, here are some past projects and what I would have charged for them.

By the beginning of next week, Trappings and Trinkets will have made around 900 cloth masks. If you are still looking for masks, you can find them in our Etsy shop for just $5. We will probably have them in stock until the middle-end of next week.

I just finished a batch of project bags that are mostly headed for sale at my local yarn shop. But if you’re not local and see something you would like me to ship to you, just say the word! I have one 200g-size bag (holds two 100g skeins of yarn or equivalent project, $26), and the rest are 400g, 500g, 600g & 700g sizes ($30 -$36). Comment below or send a message by Wed, March 6th if you’re interested and I’ll send an invoice via Paypal. 😊

I started a little destash auction over on my Instagram (). I've been spring cleaning today and am starting to let go of the yarn that is either left over from projects past, or that just didn't end up working for whatever I bought it for. There are 9 lots listed tonight and I suspect more will follow tomorrow!

The Plank & Groove Hat is the fourth and final hat in the eBook! It combines a textured rib pattern with a versatile slouchy shape and a unique crown. Using only knits and purls means that it is a great hat pattern for a beginner.
