Opened in 1955, the Dunes Hotel was a landmark of "Old Vegas" luxury, famous for its Arabian Nights theme and the iconic Casino de Paris show. This 1966 photo captures its peak, featuring the then-new high-rise tower that signaled the Strip's shift toward vertical resorts. After decades as a premier destination for golf and glamour, the property was famously imploded in 1993 to make way for the Bellagio, marking the end of the vintage era and the birth of the modern mega-resort.

Our Story

Hello, thank you for visiting my blog page. My name is Sarah Jane Aguirre and I am a proud resident of Arizona. I have lived in many beautiful places and have seen many magnificent sites, but nothing has inspired me quite like the mighty Saguaro Cacti and Purple Hills of Arizona.

I am an artist and a certified Home Stager. My focus is Re-Design in lived-in spaces, organization, Feng Shui, and decorating with art and purpose. I primarily do consultations and am working with Peoria based REALTOR, Sarah Babros, on New Listing Staging.
