A heartfelt announcement 🤍

Dear friends,

It is with a full heart that I announce my retirement after 47 years of “pretty things and pretty good ideas.” As I reflect on this incredible journey, I’m reminded of the wisdom in Ecclesiastes 3:1: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” It’s simply time for me to close this cherished beloved chapter.

Making the decision to retire from Angel 101 and Gather has been incredibly difficult, as both stores and you hold a very special place in my heart. Psalms 37:4 reminds me, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

When I opened these stores, my goal was always to inspire, to create a beautiful space to shop, and to design memorable events that would spark joy in every customer.

My passion for beauty has been woven into the very fabric ofboth Angel 101 and Gather, and I will forever hold that passion close.

I have been incredibly blessed to be part of this warm, welcoming, and supportive community. I look forward to remain a part of the community. The love I’ve received from all of you has been nothing short of inspiring.

My wonderful team, affectionately known as “The 101 Gals” and “The Gather Gals,” has become family to me. The culture we’ve built together has made every moment spent here truly special.

Though this chapter is changing, the memories and connections we’ve made will forever remain in my heart. As I step into this next season, I hold close the promise of Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you”. I know the future holds many beautiful things. Mark will greatly miss delivering flowers to your homes, you waving to him while he’s driving, seeing you in the shops, and having the chance to chat with all of you. He has enjoyed those moments as much as I have, and we both deeply appreciate the connections we've made with each of you.

Transitions & timeline for both Angel 101 and Gather are yet to be determined, and will be communicated via email and our social media once finalized.

Thank you all for your unwavering loyalty, your kindness, and for allowing me to be a small part of your lives. The friendships I’ve formed over the years are treasures I will carry with me always.

Spring Sip Recipe ✨ Bourbon Cherry Lemonade ✨

Ingredients:
2 oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz simple syrup
2-3 Woodford Reserve Bourbon Cherries
Splash of club soda
Lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions:
Muddle the bourbon cherries in a shaker.
Add bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake with ice.
Strain into a glass filled with ice.
Top with club soda and garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry.
