🩷A note from Kelly:

So... today is closing day! It's 5:30 am, can't sleep, so here I am at the shop writing this last group text!
Once again, THANK YOU for all your support with this sale! We will be open today,
and there are some good items left here in the store! Of course I think all the items are great! There are 6 of the MacKenzie-Childs teakettles available at 20% off, and if you love the Royal Check, or Sterling Check patterns, there are dishes and chargers here. All Christmas items are 60% off, and there is a "seasonal" table at 40% off.

The store is not it's usual "pretty" look. Gone are the Simon Pearce lights, the large hutches and many of the displays. This makes it easier to close shop! I will miss the routine of the shop, the safety of knowing where I am each day, but am looking forward and adapting to my new routine.

BUT..., there is a possibility of a Sheffield Road 2.0!
FYI, I have been working with a client, friend and hoping to be a store owner for the past 2 weeks! She is working on a business plan to see if her dream of owning a shop will work! So fingers crossed. There is a chance of Sheffield Road continuing! My new favorite phrase is WE'LL SEE!

As for today, Charlie and I will be in the shop from 10 to 5 today for final sales.

What do I say but “Thank you” for shopping local, shopping small! Over the past 18 years, it has been my privilege to be able to work with you at Sheffield Road. Now, it looks like it is time to change things up!

This shop gave me a purpose. Before I opened the shop, I kept saying to a few friends, what a lame gift it is to be able to be a good gift giver! But, I felt that was a passion of mine, my love language! Here I was telling my kids, do what you love...so I took a leap of faith and opened Sheffield Road.

But, 18 years later...I will be closing the store at the end of this month. It is time to see my grandchildren more and relax a little ( not sure I know how to relax, but I’m willing to try).

Everything is now marked down 20%, and items that are already on sale, take another 20% off those prices.

We’ll be open today, Sunday, 12-4. Stop in and help clean out the shop! THIS IS CASH, CHECK, OR VENMO ONLY SALE!

Monday I’ll come in to revamp what is left...then let you know hours for the week.
