That’s a striking piece.
The Tennessee tri-star sits clean and proud in that orange circle, and the way the dark, smoky grain rolls behind it like night water or storm clouds gives the whole board real presence. The white ring around the emblem is crisp, the orange fly bar is bold without being loud, and the finish looks smooth enough to catch light instead of fighting it.

A large wooden American flag plaque mounted on a light wood-paneled office wall. The canton is deep blue with white stars; the stripes are alternating natural wood and stained red, finished with a glossy epoxy look.
On the flag:
• A black-and-gold plaque reads MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK POLICE SPECIAL OPERATIONS SECTION
• Three embroidered-style patches: Special Operations (left), the department seal (center), and Special Operations K9 (right)

This photo shows the interior wall of a fire station (white painted cinder-block).
The main piece is a large, glossy black-framed wooden American-flag plaque. The canton (left side) has a dark field with wooden stars and the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Florida emblem (Maltese-cross style badge with crossed axes, a capitol dome, and “FIRE / RESCUE”). The fly has horizontal wooden slats for the stripes plus one thin red stripe. Along the bottom edge it reads “Duty • Honor • Courage.”
To the right of the plaque is a triangular wooden memorial case holding a folded U.S. flag.
A small wooden shelf mounted below the plaque holds a red firefighter helmet and a pair of yellow leather turnout gloves.
In the background on the right you can see part of a red fire apparatus with open compartments full of equipment and a coiled hose on a red stand. A window in the far wall lets in daylight.
