The world feels a little smaller when craftsmanship connects continents.

This custom rug by hand loomed by skilled artisans in Kathmandu, is making its way to its future home in New York City. We love collaborating with makers from around the world, bringing together different traditions, techniques, and perspectives to create something truly meaningful.

Every project becomes richer when it carries the story of the hands that made it. From Kathmandu to NYC, this rug is more than a finished piece—it’s a testament to the beauty of global collaboration and the extraordinary results that happen when artistry knows no borders.

Sometimes designers have to think outside of the box and look for creative solutions to supply issues. We presented a tile to our client in their initial design presentation that was later discontinued. When we searched for a replacement nothing felt right to our client and they kept reminiscing on the original tile. We only needed a small amount around the Rand’s backsplash but the colors had to be just right to frame the custom range. Custom tile from our US suppliers was exorbitant in cost so we decided to look for a small handmade supplier. We found a little tile shop run by a husband and wife who hand make every tile in and they have far exceeded our expectations in creating a work of art to frame the hearth in our clients kitchen. Excited to see it installed!

Maui is such a magical place. The crystal blue waters and breathtaking views form the backdrop to so many of our special memories!  Our founders family has called the island home for decades.  They have operated small businesses in Lahaina and worked directly with many of the families and businesses that were affected by this tremendous tragedy.

The best thing about the islands has always been its people and their spirit of Aloha.  During this devastating time we would like to ask you to join us to donate  Maui Strong Fund, a vetted organization with feet on the ground helping those most in need.
