And, that’s a wrap ✨ The Mariners Point Retreat project is finished and I’ve got all kinds of feeeels.

With this being my largest, quickest project to-date, there is certainly some relief from working during my last trimester of pregnancy, having my baby girl and grinding all of postpartum. But, man. What a wild ride. And what a special place in my heart this home holds 🤍

I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. Though there were some very long days & nights pulling this together, I found so much JOY in designing this home and I think it shows 😉

From space planning to paint colors to finishes to furnishings to softgoods to decor… this home craved it all and I was honored to be handed the keys & trusted to make this white box house a “home” for the past six months.

I can’t wait to share ALLLL the beauty inside.

Welcome to my why. ❤️

They’re the reason for this business. They’re the motivation to keep going as a SAHM & business owner. Even when nights are long, relaxing weekends are few and far between & work errands are often not done alone.

I’ve learned time goes way too fast and I don’t want to miss out on a single precious moment.

One word: Grateful.

Backstory ⬇️
Over a week ago, our 3 month old got diagnosed with RSV. From what we’ve heard, it could’ve been worse but still was the scariest, most heart-wrenching illness we’ve had yet. She was so miserable that she was not interested in any of her daily functions. Eating, playing, sleeping, smiling, etc. Screaming & crying became her norm. It was so hard to watch.

Needless to say, I was needed at home. 24/7.
I was able to take care of her to my capacity with zero consequences.

Running an interior design business & being a SAHM is not and has not been easy, but I’m so grateful to have a job that allows me to put my family first. Every time. No questions asked. My clients are aware of this and it will continue to be at the forefront.

Design decisions can wait. Taking care of my children cannot. ❤️

Nearing the finish line of the Mariners project and it’s so bittersweet. But, couldn’t wait to show you a sneak peek!

The bedrooms are full of different textures, textiles & inviting color schemes- each in their own way with an emphasis on COZYYY.

The four week countdown is on ✨

📢 DON’T WRITE OFF RESALE STORES.

You never know what gems you’ll find and how well they’ve been taken care of. This walnut curved arm side chair had zero rips, stains or scratches and matched my goal style… not to mention it was a fraction of the cost buying new!

Even as a more modern interior designer, I still source a number of pieces from resale & thrift stores. There is so much more beauty in a piece that has a story and has been built to last the test of time.

Can’t take the vintage out of this girl.

Always so honored and so grateful to work with my husband. He’s been bringing my designs to life for almost 10 years and clearly. He just keeps getting better and better! There’s truly nothing like growing in your profession alongside your ride-or-die.
