This single Pokemon legitimately took about an hour of mind numbing searching to find. The relief of finally having it caught was awesome. Never have I ever been so happy to get a first throw capture.

Estimates are somewhat conflicted in the exact timeline and it gets further complicated by the fact that the North Star is actually a 3 star system and each star is a work different age. However the youngest and brightest star that we see at the primary start of the system is either significantly younger than sharks 10's to 100's if millions of years younger or is slightly older than sharks by 10's of millions of years. Either way sharks or shark like animals are insanely old and that's pretty dang cool.

The Safari Zone was a cute idea in Gen 1 to give a different spin on the Pokemon catching loop but it should have stayed in Gen 1 🤬 Safari Zone is and will always be my least favorite part of any Pokemon game.
