What a great honor to meet the juror, Lynn Marsden Atlass, and to have my artwork included in this spectacular regional show.

Thank you to the friends and art lovers who came out to celebrate at the opening reception.

Hundreds of artists submitted work for the juried exhibition, which runs through Sept. 20.

I’m deeply honored to share that my painting, Helen, has been selected for the Rehoboth Art League’s 12th Regional Juried Biennial.

This year’s exhibition was juried by Lynn Marsden-Atlass, whose distinguished career has included serving as Executive Director and University Curator at the University of Pennsylvania’s Arthur Ross Gallery, Senior Curator at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and curator of exhibitions featuring artists such as Helen Frankenthaler, Pablo Picasso, Francisco Goya, and Gustave Courbet.

Having studied, taught, and worked in Philadelphia’s museum community, this recognition feels especially meaningful to me. To have my work selected by a curator of Ms. Marsden-Atlass’s experience and vision is a tremendous honor.

My heartfelt thanks to the Rehoboth Art League, to Ms. Marsden-Atlass, and to my wonderfully patient friends and my husband, Bruce, who have spent years encouraging me—and celebrating every small step—as I’ve tried to get over my irrational fear of painting with the color red.

Helen will be on view in the Corkran and Tubbs Galleries from August 21 through September 20, 2026. The opening reception will be held on Friday, August 21, from 5:00–7:00 p.m., followed by a Gallery Talk by Lynn Marsden-Atlass on Saturday, August 22, at 10:00 a.m.

If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you there.
