I’m so honored to have won a ribbon for the second year in a row at the PHS Flower Show! After 27 hours of volunteering in a new position as Shift Lead and submitting another terrarium to the HortiCourt, I’m at home recovering 🤒 🤧 and celebrating winning third prize in my category.

Volunteering with is a great way to meet new people and learn new skills. Next year I want to work with the competition classes so I can learn even more about the process. Follow Strange Terrariums to stay up to date about upcoming markets in 2026!

(P.S. a Strawberry Begonia is not a strawberry OR a begonia, I guess?! 🤷🏽‍♀️)

Strange terrariums are now available at ! Stop by and explore the gorgeous gardens, then head to the welcome center of one of my favorite spots in Philly to buy yours ❤️🌱

Here are a few facts about the custom pieces for sale at Bartram’s:

- Each vessel offered at Bartram’s is an antique dating from the early 1800’s - 1900’s
- Each terrarium is made by me and grown in my studio for a whole month before sale to ensure a quality product
- Outside of a market or a pop up where I vend, these terrariums are only offered at Bartram’s!

(Make sure to bring your terrarium straight home, don’t leave it in a hot car!)
