Thinking about a kitchen or bath remodel this year? Start with something most people overlook...your stuff.

Take a minute to think through how you actually use your space. For example, if you keep plastic wrap, foil, and freezer bags in a drawer, that drawer needs to be sized correctly so everything fits comfortably without catching or getting crushed every time you open and close it.

The same goes for everything else in your kitchen. Pots, pans, dishes, and food storage all need a home that is designed around how you use them, not just what looks good on paper.

Good design is not just about how it looks. It is about how it works every single day.

A little hashtag is in the works! Wives usually take control of the kitchen, the bathroom, and most other rooms in the house. But occasionally, we get to create a space just for the husband!
