In 1951, Arizona Art Supply was the first art store opened in Phoenix. Earlier, the store began as one aisle of art supplies in a hardware store. The demand for art supplies grew very quickly as more artists began working in Arizona. Soon, the founders closed their hardware store and opened Arizona Art Supply. Local professional artists have since been dedicated to Arizona Art Supply. Arizona Art
