Currently, our spotlight shines on our extensive collection of classical vinyl records. "I Wonder What's Up There…"
We invite you to wander through our virtual attic, where every item holds a story waiting to be uncovered. Imagine the memories and unique finds lurking in your grandparents’ attic; that's the essence of Ted's Attic — history and a sense of wonder. Our Story: Unveiling Legacy
Ou
r journey begins with Ted’s symphony of classical records, setting the stage for a variety of finds to come; a collection that spans sports cards, newspapers, books, toys, memorabilia, and beyond. But hey, remember, Ted’s Attic isn’t focused on just selling ‘stuff.’ Our goal is to curate an experience, transporting you back to moments you might have forgotten or wished you could have experienced. That's the magic we hope to create! Meet Ted, our namesake:
Ted's Attic traces its roots to our grandparent’s Hortonville, NY antique store, ‘Ruby’s Antiques,’ and later, Ted’s venture into the world of e-commerce in the form of ‘Ted's Books.’ As an avid historian, a James Bond aficionado, and a lover of classical music, Ted pieced together his collection of vintage items as if he were an archaeologist uncovering the gems of the past (dare I invoke the name, Indiana Jones?!). Beyond the shop, Ted was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, as well as an accomplished educator, administrator, and published author, preserving narratives through his writings:
• "Textual Representation of the American Indians 1830 - 1930"
• "The Collected Letters of Steve Kogan & Ted Sitea 1987 - 2015 Volumes I, II, and III: Memories of a Shared Friendship: Ideas, Musings, and Meditations." In honoring Ted's legacy, we invite you to explore and cherish these timeless pieces, preserving memories and creating new ones. From our family to yours, welcome to Ted's Attic.
