Just a little bit about me you don’t know. I was never given anything I have always had to work for everything I have. I started babysitting at 12 yrs old, worked 3 yrs at my dream job Deka -Di Riding stables, not all glamorous, have you ever tried putting hay in a barn as you had menstrual cramps in 100 degree weather? Get bucked off, bit, kicked by gods true gift to women, horses. Yet I went bac
k every day and loved it all! Then I bought my $300 dollar car and was paying for insurance, clothes and my senior graduation announcements. My third paying job was a table busser at the The Pancake House then I advanced all the way up to head waitress of my shift closing out end of the day transactions. Loved the customers, but people get hangry so you must hustle. From there I went to another dream job “Chronister Card & Gift, loved it there! Especially at Christmas time and all the cheer, but it was hustle time also. Nothing was given to me I worked and payed for everything I had. On the weekends I began helping my sister set up her booths at shows and became addicted to it all. I started making barn wood items and going to shows, then decided to try my hand at opening a store part time. I was open part time and did 10 shows my last year prior to purchasing my brick and motor store. Again I funded my store and went into debt to have a happy place to go to. I had a great customer base and built up enough inventory I felt secure opening full time. It’s been a true blessing and I believe God made it happen. I Truly love what I do from meeting each and every customer to becoming their friends and buying product for them to purchase. It’s my happy place at the barn. My sister has been my inspiration. I love her work and wanted to showcase it and she encouraged me to follow my dream. I thank god every day for blessing me to have this opportunity.
