We apologize for the lack of updates. We have been waiting on dates before speaking again about the future of Swarthout’s Floor Sanding & Refinishing.

As previously addressed, we have had to take a temporary hiatus on bookings due to an unexpected injury. We now have a timeline in mind.

Unfortunately, we will remain unable to perform work on projects for the remainder of 2026. However, we are happy to announce that we anticipate reopening in January 2027 and have already started booking project dates.

If your project can wait, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. I would be happy to speak with you, provide a quote, and reserve a date beginning in January 2027.

Again, we sincerely apologize that we are unable to help you immediately, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support.

As a family-owned business rooted in Elmira, NY and surrounding areas, we've been committed to delivering exceptional floor sanding and refinishing services since 1963.

Due to an unexpected injury, we've had to temporarily pause our operations. We're deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time.
