Stand fridge is full.

6 wrapped bouquets $20 each
4 jars $20 each
7 bud vases $5 each

Everything is tucked into the fridge out of the wind.

Thank you all for a great season. It’s bitter sweet to say this is the final time I’m filling the stand, but it’s time to focus on closing up and getting ready for the hibernation of winter with dreams of next summer.

❄️🌸 Happy Frostmas! 🌸❄️

Have you ever heard of Frostmas?

In the flower farming world, Frostmas is the first killing frost of the season—the moment Mother Nature officially tells us it’s time to put the flower fields to bed.

It’s a bittersweet celebration.

We’ve spent months planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and sharing thousands of beautiful blooms. And then, seemingly overnight, the season comes to an end.

There’s a little sadness in saying goodbye to the dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, and sunflowers we’ve loved all summer.

But there’s also something beautiful about the changing seasons. A chance to rest, reflect, celebrate what grew, and begin dreaming about what comes next.

Because while Frostmas marks the end of one growing season, it’s also the beginning of planning for another. 🌱

Here’s to another season of flowers, memories, and sharing a little joy from our fields to your homes.

Happy Frostmas from Hillview Flower Farm! 🤍

Final harvest.

Thank you for your support of my dreams, visions and small business in 2026.

I’m ready for the next stage. We started digging some dahlias last weekend and I’ll be digging more Saturday. I’m giving myself permission to sleep in, but if you’re interested in learning or helping, reach out and we’ll collaborate on meeting in the field after a slow roll into the morning.

Spring ‘26 Me: I don’t do weddings, maybe someday.

Fall ‘26 Me: 3rd wedding bouquet created.

Maybe more weddings are in the future?

I ordered the Eucalyptus from the wholesaler, otherwise everything was fresh from the field.

Walking the field to collect the elements and then pulling them all together to create is my favorite.

The dahlias are showing off this week. Just in time for a wedding bouquet and homecoming bouquets.
