Felted Sunflower Landscape Class with Esther

Create a cheerful sunflower landscape using colorful wool fibers in this hands-on felting class taught by Esther. She will guide you through building the design layer by layer, adding bold outlines, bright petals, and textured leaves to bring your picture to life.

Your finished piece will be uniquely your own and make a lovely piece of fiber art to display or give as a handmade gift.

I started thinking about all the different places I enjoy knitting, and I realized I really don't have just one favorite!

From my cozy chair surrounded by yarn and knitting supplies to peaceful mornings on the deck with my coffee, each place has its own charm. ❤️

It’s the quiet moments, the rhythm of each stitch, and the feeling of slowing down for a while. Sometimes, you just need a little yarn and a pair of needles to make the day feel lighter.❤️

🧶 Do I knit differently than I did years ago?
Apparently after 45 years of knitting and crocheting, I’ve picked up a few things along the way! 😂
I’m more confident, much pickier about my yarn, better at choosing colors, and far more willing to rip something out when it isn’t working. But while writing this week’s blog, I realized something else…
The thing I love most about yarn really hasn’t changed at all. ❤️
This week I’m looking back at the knitter I used to be, the knitter I am today, and a childhood memory involving a perfectly wound ball of yarn that suddenly makes a lot more sense.
