First of all, let me say I appreciate all of you who are following even in my absence over the last year. And what a year it has been! We sold a home and lived in temporary housing for 7 weeks before moving into our newly built home. Since settling in, our family has experienced 3 outpatient surgeries between 2 of us. We also experienced the loss of 3 family members in the course of 10 short weeks. Add to all of that just the normal day-to-day busyness of life.

We have just gone through the 1 year warranty work on our home and are preparing to paint the entire home. We also hope to put hard surface flooring in my office/craft room which will make maneuvering around the room with my office chair a whole lot easier. I also plan to re-work the layout for it to be a bit more efficient. I'm hoping the office/craft room will be completely done by the end of November. Hoping being the key word.

Again, I want to thank you all for sticking with me. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things real soon.

I've been a bit inactive lately with life events. I've been busy the last few weeks making 45 thank you notes. 30 were sent after the death of my 2nd oldest child. Ten of them were made for my brother to use after the death of his stepson just a mere 4 weeks after the loss of my son. The remaining 5 were a gift to our new neighbors who jumped right in and took care of our pets when we had to leave suddenly to make final arrangements. It's been a bit tough but we are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who are helping us navigate it all.
Making the cards was a labor of love for me. The cards were much more meaningful to me than cards purchased from a funeral home/cremation service.

I have not dropped from the face of the earth. Life has just gotten in the way of my hobbies. I'm working on rebooting and hope to return to more actively pursuing my hobbies soon. I hope you'll continue to check back for new ideas coming soon.

Good afternoon! In conjuction with my neighborhood semi-virtual Stampin’ Up!® Open House, I wanted to hold a virtual Open House with my FB friends. Stampin' Up! is currently celebrating Sale-A-Bration until the end of the month and I wouldn't want you all to lose out on free product. For those of you that aren't familiar with Sale-A-Bration, customers can choose free product with every $50 or $100 they spend (before tax and shipping).
I have made a card kit for my Open House. If you would like me to mail you one, please comment or message me. The card kit contains a letter an instruction brochures and most everything you need to complete your card. You'll need your own adhesive and stamp for your greeting since Stampin' Up! rules prevent me from sending any stamped images.

Let me tell you, I love so many sets from this mini catalog! I could go broke because I want just about everything in it but I'm going to have to show some restraint. . I'm going to try to post an instructional video for how to assemble the card. (I'm kind of new at the video stuff, so I'll see how that goes.) And, I'm going to hold a drawing specifically for this post.
