Not every furniture piece that looks beyond saving actually is. Wood is a remarkably forgiving material when worked by someone with the right skills. Severely water-damaged tabletops, veneer that has lifted and bubbled, or structural frames that have loosened over decades - all of these can often be brought back through proper technique and patience rather than discarded.
