I made these from a piece of Australian Red Coolibah, and honestly… this wood never gets old to me.

The grain in this one caught my attention right away—deep reds, wild movement, almost like it’s flowing. I just followed what the wood was already doing and let it take shape from there. That’s always my favorite part of the process.

They’re lightweight, simple, and completely one-of-a-kind… just how I like to make things.

One of my favorite woods to work with. This Ulu knife set blends art + function: a Damascus steel blade paired with a handle and dished board, both handcrafted from the same burl. The subtle dish enhances the ulu’s rocking motion—perfect for chopping or mincing. A seamless mix of tradition, function, and natural artistry. Would you cook with it or display it?
