Come celebrate the solstice with us and create a little piece of whimsy. Make a dried flower crown and then get your picture taken in our studio by a professional photographer. This is the perfect workshop for friends looking for a fun activity to do together or moms and kids looking to make some summer memories!

With the Makers in Bloom Bus Tour right around the corner, we’re excited to introduce one of our sponsors, The Peddler! 🌸

"Hello! We are Katelyn and Lauren-two halves that make up the whole of The Peddler. We are two good friends turned business partners trying our best to be curious and find wonder in the world. We are THRILLED to be sponsors for the very first Makers in Bloom event this May. We spend our days growing, drying, and creating with dried flowers because they soothe our weary (and overstimulated!) souls and bring us joy.

We hold space for the despair of the world, but also know that all things can be redeemed so we create beauty as a signpost to the healing and abundance we believe is still possible. Last year we purchased a flower freeze- dryer so that we could preserve some harder to dry flowers and create with them in all sorts of gifts, wreaths, bouquets, wedding and installation work. We love the creative process and getting to work together to create small pieces of natural beauty for you to enjoy in any of the corners, walls, tables, and spaces that you call home."

Bus tour passengers will receive a special treat from The Peddler as part of their goodie bag! 👀

We had a fun afternoon creating this custom installation .studio for their upcoming Mother's Day photo sessions. We love the creative process and the ability of dried flowers to endure and bring long lasting beauty. When this installation comes down, we'll be able to reuse many of these elements in future designs making it a much more sustainable option than fresh. If you've got a space in a storefront, restaurant, home, or business that could use a little flower glow up, contact us through our website to start the conversation!

the truth is
my hope is mangled.
it limps and creaks
at night.
you speak of hope like a
white bird soaring.
It's okay that mine
is the battered exhale,
a bench with splintered wood.
