Your front door sets the tone before anyone even walks inside.

Think about how many moments happen right at your front door this time of year. Back to school mornings, homecoming, football games, neighborhood gatherings, friends stopping by, and family coming to visit.

When someone rings your doorbell, you want the first feeling they get to be that your home is warm, welcoming, and inviting.

So here are my top tips for creating a fall-ready front door that feels beautiful and intentional:

1. Start with a statement wreath.
Skip the cheesy pumpkins and overly themed designs. Look for something that simply says, "fall is coming." Natural textures, beautiful foliage, warm tones, and an elegant design will create a timeless welcome.

2. Don't skimp on the doormat.
Yes, double layer it. And oversized? Absolutely. Your doormat helps anchor the entire entryway, so don't treat it like an afterthought.

3. Add height and layers.
If you have the space, bring in planters, urns, cornstalks, or tall branches. Different heights create dimension and make your entrance feel fuller and more intentional.

4. Keep it connected to your home.
Your fall décor doesn't have to look like everyone else's. Pull colors and textures from your home's exterior and choose pieces that complement your personal style.

5. Don't overdo it.
You don't need every fall decoration at the store. A few beautiful, intentional pieces will always make a bigger impact than filling every inch of your porch.

Let's make it feel like fall, without making it feel like a fall aisle at the store.

Your home shouldn't look like everyone else's.

One of my favorite parts of designing a space is discovering what makes it uniquely yours.

Maybe it's the ornaments your family has collected over the years.

Maybe it's the color you've always loved.

Maybe it's the antique vase that belonged to your grandmother or the wreath you hang every spring.

Those are the details I want people to notice.

I'm not here to recreate a Pinterest photo or copy the latest trend.

I'm here to create spaces that tell your story.

Because the most beautiful homes aren't the ones that look perfect.

They're the ones that feel personal.

Tell me in the comments, what are your favorite home decor pieces?

Your home should refill you, not just hold you.

For a long time, I thought my job was creating beautiful flowers.

Over the years, I've realized it's so much more than that.

Whether I'm designing a wedding, styling a front porch, creating a backyard retreat, or decorating a family room for Christmas, my goal has always been the same: to create spaces that make people feel something.

Because home is where life happens.

It's where you start your mornings with a cup of coffee. It's where your kids run through the front door after school. It's where friends gather around the table and where you finally exhale after a long day.

I don't believe beautiful design is about having the trendiest décor or the most expensive pieces.

I believe it's about creating a home that feels like you.

A home that welcomes you, inspires you, and reminds you that everyday moments are worth celebrating.

That's why I do what I do.

Because beautiful spaces don't just change the way a home looks.

They change the way it feels.

Hi! It's me, Holly. 🤍

It's been a minute since I've properly introduced myself around here.

This year has been a little different. With a lighter wedding season, I've had the chance to slow down and focus on a smaller number of celebrations. While I will always love weddings, this season has also given me the space to lean into what feels like my next chapter.

If you've been following along for the past couple of seasons, you've probably noticed I've been spending more time expanding my decorating services and finding new ways to serve my community. I've been learning, growing, and refining my skills to help busy families create homes that feel beautiful, personal, and uniquely theirs.

Because home decor shouldn't be about copying a trend or buying everything from someone's influencer link. Your home should tell your story.

That's what I love most about this work. Whether it's flowers, seasonal décor, wreaths, porches, mantels, or holiday installations, I'm creating art for your home. Art that reflects your family, your traditions, and the life you're building within those walls.

The power of flowers and beautiful spaces has always been my passion, and I'm incredibly grateful that so many families have welcomed me into their homes this year and trusted me with their spaces.

So if you're new here, welcome. And if you've been here for a while, thank you for following along. I'm so glad you're here.
