MCF Architecture is a full service architectural firm that provides complete architectural design, master planning, programming, interior design and construction administration services. We have been engaged in the practice of architecture since our founding by Mr. Edward Stotz in 1889, making MCF one of the oldest continually run architecture firms in the United States and the second oldest in th

e state of Pennsylvania. As a full service architectural firm, we are able to respond to all the technical and technological needs of our clients. We have a long-standing reputation of providing the highest level of professional services, delivering to clients innovative and exciting design solutions. MCF believes in using a variety of consultants for its engineering needs rather than employ in-house engineers. This allows us the flexibility to provide hands-on service in a variety of geographical regions as well as use varying engineering expertise to fit the job in question.

What a day at Saint Vincent College !

Project Manager and Senior Architect, John Robinson, caught the Steelers in action at Training Camp and visited the future Dunlap Family Athletic and Recreation Center, currently under construction and buzzing with potential.

This new facility is designed to give Saint Vincent students a dynamic space to train, play, and come together. Weโ€™re proud to be part of a project thatโ€™s all about building community through movement and wellness.

Big thanks to Saint Vincent College for the warm invitation and unforgettable experience!

We brought the whole crew together for our first Annual All-Associates Meeting since the merger between MCF and McKinley Architecture and Engineering !

It was a great chance to hit pause, reflect on where weโ€™ve been, and get on the same page about where weโ€™re headed. From celebrating recent wins to looking ahead at new opportunities, it reminded us how much stronger we are together.

Hereโ€™s to growing, dreaming, and building together.

As your favorite golfers are navigating Oakmont Country Club's lightning-fast greens and deep bunkers, we are looking back to the beginning.

In 1904, our founder, Edward Stotz, Architect, designed the new clubhouse and its furnishings for about $35,000, around $1,350,000 today. The Club and its challenging course are the inspiration of Henry C. Fownes, steel magnate and golf devotee, for whom Edยญward Stotz has already designed a house.

Thank you to GOLF.com for contacting our office to obtain additional historical insights, drawings, and photos from our โ€œStotzโ€ archives to round out their video exposรฉ about the Clubhouse.

MCF Director and Senior Architect, Robert Russ, joined the incredible team at Carnegie Library of Homestead this past weekend for the ribbon cutting of their Phase 2 Renovations. With improved accessibility, sensory-friendly meeting rooms, and upgraded air conditioning, the library continues to grow as a vital resource for the community.

Weโ€™re honored to support a project that strengthens such a vital community anchor and expands opportunities for learning, gathering, and growth.

Thank you to the team at the Carnegie Library of Homestead!
