When a storefront window breaks, business owners and property managers need a service partner who can move quickly and make the process easier.

This project took us to a local Santa Ana business that creates high-end residential furnishings. Their large gray storefront window had broken, and they needed it replaced quickly so the building could stay secure and look professional.

The existing window was gray annealed glass with gray window film. We replaced it with new gray tempered safety glass and applied matching gray window film in our shop before installation.

That in-shop film work matters. Instead of applying the film outside where wind, dust, bugs, or jobsite debris can affect the finish, we can apply standard films in a cleaner, more controlled setting before the glass goes to the job.

The customer called us on a Monday, and by 11:29 Wednesday morning, their new gray tempered storefront glass with matching film was installed.

Storefront glass is our specialty, and this is exactly the kind of problem we love helping local businesses solve: fast service, the right glass, a clean finish, and one less thing for the customer to manage.

Not all safety glass works the same way.

This large commercial window in Westminster was made with clear laminated safety glass. When it was damaged, the glass cracked, but it stayed in place because the inner plastic layer held it together.

That made a big difference for the customer.

If this had been tempered glass, it likely would have broken into small pieces and fallen out, which may have required an emergency board-up while waiting for replacement glass. Because it was laminated, the opening stayed covered until the new glass was ready.

Tempered glass is stronger before it breaks, but laminated glass can perform better after it breaks. It is not always the best choice for every window, but for large commercial windows where security and glass retention matter, laminated glass can be a smart option.

We replaced the damaged panel with new, clear, laminated safety glass so the building could maintain the same protection going forward.

Sometimes the best repair is not just replacing what is broken. It is helping a business avoid the same problem down the road.

This project took us to a shoe store in Anaheim, where a 30-square-foot transom window above the entrance had cracked. The store regularly displays promotional posters behind the glass, so we took a step back and thought about how the storefront is actually used before recommending a replacement.

Large graphics behind glass can trap heat, so instead of replacing the glass with the same type, we recommended new tempered safety glass to better handle the stress this window deals with every day.

The installation required two technicians, scaffolding, and a lot of teamwork, but the finished result came out great.

One of our favorite parts of this job was working with such a great client. We really enjoy helping local businesses find solutions that fix the issue now and help prevent future problems.

Effective 5/22/26, a mandatory evacuation order has been issued in areas of the City of Buena Park by Ball Rd. to Trask Ave. and Valley View St. to Dale St. due to a chemical spill in Garden Grove. Residents in the Girl Tract are urged to leave the area immediately and follow directions from emergency personnel. Residents needing a safe location may go to the Ehlers Community Center - 8150 Knott Ave.

When presentation matters, even small details count

We completed a commercial glass replacement for a restaurant in Brea, located in a busy dining and entertainment area near the Improv.

The issue was a small scratch in a patio roll-up window, but in a highly visible, customer-facing space, even something minor can stand out. In environments like this, maintaining a clean, polished look is part of the overall experience.

We replaced the damaged insulated glass unit (IGU) with new glass, restoring a clear, consistent appearance and helping the storefront look the way it’s meant to.

Sometimes it’s the small details that make the biggest difference.
