Residents in the Girl Tract are urged to leave the area immediately and follow directions from emergency personnel. Residents needing a safe location may go to the Ehlers Community Center - 8150 Knott Ave.

We completed a commercial glass replacement for a restaurant in Brea, located in a busy dining and entertainment area near the Improv.

We were called out over the weekend for an emergency door glass break at a commercial storefront in Gardena. The first priority was securing the opening, so our team installed a professional board-up to keep the building safe and protected until the new glass could be installed.

Within just a few days, we returned to replace the damaged door glass with new, clear tempered safety glass, restoring the entrance to full operation.

This door sits in front of an interior refrigeration unit, and the client wanted a clean, professional look while waiting for their official branding graphics. To help with that, we installed white out film to block the view, provide full privacy, and create a smooth background for future graphics.

Early-morning emergency board-up in Santa Fe Springs

Emergency board-ups aren’t meant to be pretty — they’re meant to be secure and safe.

We responded early in the morning after a break-in left a storefront vulnerable in Santa Fe Springs. The damaged glass was a dual-pane (insulated) unit, which must be custom-made and takes a few business days to produce.

While on site, we removed and cleaned up all broken glass, eliminating safety hazards before installing a reinforced board-up secured with wooden cleats. This method protects the existing frame and creates a barrier that’s often more secure than glass.

While the opening was secured, we also took full measurements and ordering details so the replacement glass could be approved and ordered quickly. That way, once the glass is ready, the transition from board-up to permanent repair is smooth and fast.

Board-ups like this aren’t about looks — they’re about protecting people, property, and keeping the process moving.

Our team started with a full door assessment and stabilized the door on the first visit by repairing a custom-modified closer arm, allowing the store to remain open while the correct replacement parts were sourced. Herculite doors rarely use standard hardware, especially when custom modifications are involved, so careful matching is essential.

Once the new parts arrived, we returned to complete the permanent repair, including replacing the bottom patch slide, installing a new closer arm, and custom-matching the hardware to restore smooth, controlled operation. All glass-to-glass contact was eliminated.
