Golden History Days 2026: Welcoming the Wagon Train Home
Presented by the Golden History Association (GHA),
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

The Golden History Association is proud to announce preparations for Golden History Days, a vibrant celebration to welcome our Wagon Train Family back home. After their weeklong journey across El Dorado County, the Wagon Train will roll into Main Street, Placerville on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Main Street will be closed for a full day of celebration!
What to Expect
Join us for a day filled with family-friendly activities and living history, including:
• Gold Rush reenactors & historical interpreters
• Variety of Music
• Placerville’s Famous Marshals
• Antique Fair & Peddlers Market
• Gold panning & hands-on educational exhibits
• Delicious food vendors
• And more added events
This event honors our region’s rich heritage and brings together neighbors, visitors, and history lovers of all ages.

To make this celebration truly unforgettable, we invite our El Dorado community to support Golden History Days through donations. Every contribution goes directly to the Golden History Association Fund, helping cover event costs and preserve our local traditions.
