My birthday and Mother's Day both fall in May. I usually spend 2 to $300ish every year on annuals. 🥀 This year I said ... I'm tired of wasting money under and over watering flowers just to wilt, brown and perish. I went faux this year in my front urns. I also turned my non-working fountain into a flower pot. I've seen prettier arrangements and maybe I'll add some faux greens, but basically I'm good for this year. Now my annuals killing time can be spent on something more productive 😅 Oh and that last pic ... a pretty w**d and they've popped up everywhere in my landscaping😬 I see Ibuprofin in our future 🤭

I'm just as happy as this sweet banjo a pickin 🪕🎶 I had no idea these existed until Julie Norkus of Julie Norkus Fragments posted what she had received from a friend of hers. (Follow her) I commented on her post to keep me in mind if she were to ever part with hers. Yes, I'm talking about these amazing vintage Marshall Field's spice bottles and rack 💚 Just a few weeks ago, I just happened to pass an estate sale sign on the side of the road and Mr. MHC and I had a little extra time that day, so I turned my van around and stopped. Now I would have completely ignored a vintage spice rack (and yes I resell vintage 🤷‍♀️) but I turned back around to take a second look, and grabbed them SO fast with the absolute biggest smile on my face!! Thank you universe for the good juju!!!! And Julie, I won't be googling over yours any longer. AND Julie ALSO has me completely hooked on De Carlini Marshall Field's Glass Shoppers I now display in my home at Christmaa with many other sweet Field's finds over the years. I believe I now have five 🤭
