I've been an all around crafter since my now adult children were babies. As my family and friends have benefited from my countless handmade gifts over the years, I've had many requests as to where they can purchase them. 💔 It is with deep sadness that we share that Jill, the heart and hands behind Joining Jill, passed away on Tuesday, September 9th, after a courageous fight with an aggressive form of multiple myeloma. She was just shy of a year into this battle and dreaded closing her shop even temporarily to undergo treatment.
For so many of you, Jill’s creations weren’t just items in a package—they were stitched with love, comfort, and care. Through her cozies, travel items, and countless handmade treasures, she managed to send warmth to all 50 states and Canada in under 4 years. Your support allowed her passion for crafting and caring to spread further than she ever dreamed, and for that, our family is endlessly grateful.
One of Jill’s favorite parts of this journey was the genuine shock and delight she felt every single time her phone rang out with a little “cha-ching.” Each order meant the world to her. She loved seeing pictures and videos of how you used her creations, and she cherished your thoughtful reviews—it brought her so much joy to know her work found a home where it was loved and appreciated.
We are still figuring out what to do with her existing inventory and will share updates when we are ready. In the meantime, we would love to hear from you. If you own something made by Jill, please share a story, photo, or memory of how your order made you smile, brought comfort, or bettered your life. Seeing the impact of her work is one of the greatest ways we can keep her memory alive.
As Jill would say—keep on living that quilted, cozy lifestyle and spreading care for others. 🧵❤️

I'm giving this another go! I reopened my shop in February, but shortly after, I had a health setback that put me back in the hospital. This time, I waited a bit longer before reopening, hoping I didn’t jinx myself—haha! 😅

For now, I’m offering only the items currently listed in the shop, but I’ve slowly started working on a few new pieces. With any luck, I’ll be restocked and ready for custom orders soon.

I hope you discover something special—whether it’s a little treat for yourself or the perfect gift you didn’t even know you were looking for. 💛

Hello, friends!
Some of you may have noticed I’ve been absent from social media for a while—or maybe you haven’t, and that’s okay too! Haha. I wanted to take a moment to update you on what’s been going on these past few months.

Back in November, I started experiencing back pain, and at the end of the month, I was sliding into my recliner when I heard a pop in my leg. Unable to stand, I was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered I had broken my fibula and had two cracked vertebrae. These injuries were caused by Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer. On December 1st, I underwent surgery to repair my leg, and while recovering, I also battled an intestinal infection.

In total, I spent 40 days in the hospital, including time in inpatient rehab, before finally returning home in early January. Since then, I’ve been undergoing cancer treatments, and I’m happy to say that things are improving! Because I’m doing well with treatment, I’ve decided to reopen my Joining Jill shop!

For now, I’m selling only the inventory I already have made, but as soon as I’m feeling up to it, I’ll be adding new items and restocking low inventory. I’m so excited to get back to creating and helping you bring a quilted cozy lifestyle into your home or find the perfect gift for a loved one.
