🚽 HOW TO FIX IT: A Loose Toilet Seat
Is your toilet seat shifting every time you sit down? Before you replace the whole thing, check the hardware—it may be a simple fix!
1. CHECK the bolts and hardware for anything loose or damaged.
2. TIGHTEN the nuts underneath the seat with a wrench or screwdriver.
3. REPLACE cracked washers, nuts or worn hardware if needed.
4. ADJUST the seat so it's properly aligned, then tighten everything securely—but don't overtighten.
5. TEST the seat to make sure it's solid and comfortable.
💡 Pro Tip: If your toilet seat keeps coming loose, check for cracked washers or worn bolts. Replacing the hardware with a complete toilet seat hardware kit can give you a more secure fit.
