What a wonderful weekend at our houseful Gond Art Workshop! 🎨✨
This weekend, we didn’t just learn a beautiful Indian folk art—we stepped into its rich history, culture, and storytelling, all so thoughtfully shared by Sangita.
As we painted intricate patterns and brought our wooden trays to life, the afternoon became so much more than an art class. It was mindful, calming, and deeply enriching.
One of the things I admire most about Sangita is the quiet warmth she brings to every workshop. A family therapist by profession, she found her own creative escape through Gond Art, and you can truly feel that sense of calm and comfort in the way she teaches. It creates such a welcoming space to slow down, connect, and create.
Thank you, Sangita, for sharing this beautiful tradition with our community. We feel so grateful to bring these unique cultural art forms to Art For Me Studio, and we can’t wait to welcome you back!
About Gond Art:
Gond Art is a centuries-old tribal art form from Central India, created by the Gond community. Inspired by nature, folklore, and everyday life, its intricate patterns and vibrant colors tell stories while celebrating the deep connection between people and the natural world.
