When menswear founder Ryan Wright reached out about le PÈRE ‘s SoHo retail experience, we jumped at the chance to work with their art-driven and elevated brand. Ryan combed through our warehouse and estate finds to find pieces that would showcase their incredible designs. Antique oak chairs. Apothecary cabinets. French desks. Sling chairs. Sideboards and armoires. He effortlessly collected an ecclectic mix of eras and styles.

One year in the warehouse.

The space that was never supposed to be ours and couldn’t be more perfect. The place that was always supposed to be open, and now is closed perpetually while we work. 🥂 to a wild adventure.

Highlights from the last year:
- Leah Fox’s watercolor class
- the French table with carved initials (a story worth retelling)
- the 1800s architect Clinton Wheeler, and serendipity
- the lost Israeli couple and Boris Schatz trio
- the number of woman we’ve chatted and cried with amongst our treasures
- the 1890s crazy quilt that stole my heart
- the stream of texts from friends “I borrowed a parking spot.”

It’s been a happy and exhausting year. I’m so grateful.
