They fit…better than the first pair I made for my husband and I couldn’t be more relieved!
Anyone else feel like knitting for someone else’s feet can be tricky?
The stitch count was a bit wacky on this one, but I think they turned out wonderfully! I half used Summer Lee’s basic sock pattern. And by half I mean not really at all. I started with 75 stitches (I think), and decreased to an even number after finishing the cuff and then decreased again when I hit the area where the heel would be. I did some classic toe decreases and went back in and added the heel at the end. And then the second sock was almost the same! It may be time for me to knit socks two at a time again.
