Thoughtful design doesn't impose a style, it listens to what you need and builds from there.

This rustic, traditional kitchen proves it. One cabinet line, two finishes: Masterpiece Martel cabinetry on Evercore in Warm Cottage and Overcast creates depth and interest without fragmentation. The perimeter and island speak the same language while creating visual rhythm. Layering happens in many ways: sometimes through materials, sometimes through color, sometimes through the subtle choices that make a space feel collected rather than uniform. Cambria Inverness Frost countertops flow throughout, grounding everything in practicality and durability.

The result is a kitchen that works hard and feels warm, just like the family that lives in it. Because good design respects the style you're drawn to.

When storage becomes display, everything changes. This glass cabinet proves it.

This cabinet works because nothing is random. Brass hardware, clean lines, glass doors that frame without framing. Every dish, every glass, every object belongs exactly where it sits. It’s not styling for the sake of it, it’s organizing for the way you actually live.

The items you use regularly and the ones you save for occasions. Dishes arranged by color. Everyday glassware that catches light. Whatever it is, when storage becomes display, the kitchen gains another meaning. Open storage that functions because it was designed to.

A cabinet this considered deserves to be seen.

One project. Multiple rooms. One vision.

Design doesn't exist in isolation. When a kitchen like this one is conceived with intention, it becomes the anchor for everything around it. The cabinetry speaks a language: in finishes, in hardware, in proportion. That language extends into the bathroom, echoes through the mudroom, and every room listens to the one next to it. Answering back with the same materials, the same palette, the same attention.

KSI Designers orchestrate this. They understand that cohesion isn't a bonus feature, it's the foundation. Paneled appliances disappear into the design, a workstation sink becomes sculpture, brass hardware catches light in every room because the vision was never just about one space. It was about a home designed as a whole.

Whether you're reimagining one room or an entire home, cohesion matters. When materials and details speak the same language, the whole space feels intentional. That's the power of thoughtful design.

A home bar is a statement, and this one doesn't whisper.

It says you gather, entertain, pour thoughtfully, and stand beside the people you love while doing it.

Marble rises behind glass shelves, a backdrop that demands attention. Brass hardware catches light. Glassware arranged not just for access, but for view. Everything you need, always at hand while simultaneously becoming part of your home.

Below, cabinetry in soft blue grounds the whole composition. Drawers with brass pulls closed what needs hiding. A generous counter becomes the stage where entertaining actually happens. The bar functions because it's designed for movement, for gathering, for the ritual of hospitality.

A space like this changes how you move through your home. Suddenly, the bar becomes the reason people linger.

What would you change if you could stand in your kitchen before it’s built?

When KSI Designer walked clients through their space at .studio, it put things in perspective. Appliance placement clicked. Storage opportunities revealed themselves. Wasted hallway space became possibility. One walkthrough unlocked clarity and confidence.

That’s what standing in the space does. It replaces guesswork with certainty. It surfaces opportunities early, when they’re still easy to embrace.

A focal point doesn't announce itself. It earns your attention.

What was once an over-the-range microwave is now a striking decorative hood that demands presence. "This instantly became the focal point of the kitchen," says designer Ambra Colaizzi Sgrignoli. The picture frame accent tile brings subtle color and texture while dark gray shaker cabinetry grounds the space. White quartz flows throughout, keeping the palette refined.

The result is a bold hood, a powerful focal point, and a completely reimagined kitchen.

“Clients don’t always know what they want in a kitchen, but they know when they see it.”

KSI Designer Zach Didia understands this intimately. Walk into one of our design centers without a vision, and the moment of clarity arrives without warning. A plate pantry that stores and displays simultaneously. Spice racks positioned right where your hand reaches. Integrated appliances that complement the space rather than dominate it. Suddenly, the abstract becomes concrete. Clients stop searching and start seeing.

Glass cabinets balance utility with visual lightness. Strategic storage placement means spice racks, knife blocks, and garbage access positioned for rhythm, not afterthought. A statement cabinet functions as both storage and gathering point. Hidden drawers keep what needn’t be seen. Every choice maintains the room’s cohesion and asks the space to work harder for you.

A kitchen built this way feels effortless. Because every detail serves a purpose.

Paneled appliances are one way to create a more seamless kitchen. By integrating refrigerators and dishwashers behind custom cabinetry, the space can feel more cohesive and connected to the rest of the home.

It’s not about hiding appliances – it’s about giving you options. Whether you prefer a fully integrated look or want to showcase your appliances, thoughtful design makes everything work together.

At KSI Kitchen & Bath, our appliance offering pairs with our cabinetry and design expertise, so every detail is considered. The result is a kitchen that looks great, functions beautifully, and fits the way you live.

Luxury isn't about excess. It's about intention in every corner.

When you walk into this primary bath, a freestanding tub sits centered and serene. White and sculptural, it becomes the focal point and introduction to the dark marble tiled shower that grounds the space. Everything here is deliberate. Nothing is filler.

Dark grey acrylic cabinetry stretches the full wall. Dual sinks eliminate compromise. Bright quartz countertops keep the palette refined, but the backlit mirrors are where the magic happens. That soft, ambient glow transforms the space from functional to transcendent. It's not just light, it's true presence.

Every material comes together in a modern, understated way. The space feels confident, comfortable, and intentional.

Looks and materials don’t have to match. They just have to speak the same language.

“We have a lot of clients coming in lately interested in doing a mix of looks in their space,” says KSI Designer Amanda Cerra. More than ever, people want the modern sensibility of a streamlined kitchen paired with the warmth and character of something more established. The solution is layering. “We can do that by mixing in our materials and our elements into the cabinetry, such as a flat center panel door with an interesting detail on the edge or unique hardware to help give it that elegant look.”

Unique hardware that shifts from functional to sculptural. Brass catching light differently than brushed nickel. Wood tones speaking to tradition while clean lines whisper contemporary. It’s not choosing between styles, it’s combining them with intention.

Mixed materials are one of the biggest design trends we’re seeing right now, and our Design Center displays exist for exactly this reason. To show you what’s possible and to inspire yours.
