Some matrix (with pyrite) along exterior edge on one side, does have possible fracture in matrix (Pictured)
Excellent iridescent color showing throughout
Covellite can be found worldwide, The Butte material however is coveted above all others for lapidary purposes for its iridescent tendencies. A somewhat rare copper sulfide mineral thats fairly soft in its purest form with a mohs around 2
