There is nothing we love more than inspiring others to create and restore beautiful pieces for your home and others! Anyone who has purchased a piece from us will tell you we are all about giving any tips, tricks, and thoughts on any project you are working on yourself, because we want everyone to know that "you can do it too!"

Having said that, we are receiving dozens of new views on our photos everyday with no other activity, so we can only imagine that others are using our pieces as inspiration. We love to look at others' finished pieces for color inspiration and to simply admire fellow refinishers' awesome work! We kindly ask that if you recreate or use a finished piece of ours as inspiration, that you would credit us back. We spend countless creative hours on our pieces and take great pride in our originality! Plus, we would love to see your work as well!

Missing our work. This has been a year of big changes: Jordyn's husband is overseas, we are inbetween workspaces, Aimee has a frozen shoulder, and we decided to give up the beloved truckie, The Big Green Butt, so it could serve someone else. This is only a season, however, and we truly believe that when the time is right, we will once again be able to do what we love, with whom we love, for those we love ♡♡♡

I'd like to say this amazing piece was a labor of love, but it was more like being in labor--for four weeks. Granted, we knew it would be a big project when we found it abandoned in a thrift warehouse: broken hardware, jammed drawers, trashed veneer, filthy pulls. But this went beyond restoration and into deep rehab. It took all of our resources, materially, physically, and mentally, and almost ended up at the curb for bulk trash at least twice. Finishing this piece felt like less of a success and more of a parole. Now we're leaving the blood, sweat and tears behind, and letting this one of a kind antique enjoy its new and beautiful life.

Not only do they have wonderful products that are environmentally friendly and family safe, they are based in the U.S. and support our military. We refinished this tall mcm Bassett dresser in one of their newest colors, Philadelphia Parchment, with Walnut Grove Stain and Finish and Bauxite Beige Metallic Wax.
